It's a quiet resort off on the peninsula. Commute to and from Saladan town is easy, either on foot or by tuk (~50 baht). Just a bit over 2km I think. I went diving on several days, which required getting up early. Being near Saladan pier allowed me to get just a little bit more sleep each day. Room was very spacious for one person (or two, I imagine). There's the stone floor at the entrance and extending into the bathroom, and there's a raised wooden floor section for the desk, bed, and sofas. It effectively separates wet from dry and is a very nice design IMO. The desk was at the right height to use my laptop comfortably, which is thoughtful for unfortunate people like me who still have to do some work on vacations. The bed was large and very comfy with the right balance between softness and firmness. Any avid swimmer would be very happy with the arrangement like I was. There's a fresh water main rectangular pool (and a couple of small ones) with generous opening hours. And if you wish to jump in the sea it's literally a few steps away; they got showers too for when you come back. Restaurant and bar are right by the pool, which is convenient. They got plenty of bean bags and lounge chairs too (including some on the rooftop terrace of the bar!) if you need to take a break. Staff was super warm and helpful. Front desk employees generally speak very good English. Others not as much (e.g. restaurant staff), but they all did their best to communicate and help.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May and what a wonderful choice it turned out to be. We had initially booked a garden view room but after looking around the resort we found that the sea facing rooms were wonderfully located. We asked for an upgrade and for 500 THB a night we moved into the sea facing rooms. Money very well spent. The room was functional, tidy, with a very comfortable bed, a huge sofa and a fabulous sit out with recliners facing the sea. Noteworthy, was the attitude and behavior of the staff. Always smiling, helpful and friendly, esp Moo, Nick and Alisa from front office and Bees from the wait staff. Housekeeping staff were very efficient too. Their response to messaging on Whattapp was fast and accurate. The food from the kitchen was fantastic and they could prepare the dishes you wanted even if it was not in the menu. Breakfast was really great. I'm stating this in spite of it being low season where there was no buffet breakfast but the staff did not let you miss it, as they were always obliging in their attitude. The location is absolutely on a quiet secluded beach, not the cleanest that I've seen in Thailand, and the nearest big store (Lanta Mart) or 7 Eleven is about 1.5 kms away. There are scooters available on hire, and Moo was so helpful when she showed us one. There is also a wonderful restaurant, Kho Kwang, 800 meters away, from where we got to see some of the most beautiful sunsets.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. It feels like you are staying in paradise. The 3 star rating is not reflective of this hotel as it is truly luxurious. The pool area and resort surroundings are immaculate with beautiful facilities. We stayed in a beach front suite which was beautiful with excellent decoration, walk on patio straight into the beach and fantastic air con. The food and drinks were lovely and a great choice at breakfast. We really enjoyed taco night. The staff were honestly fantastic, friendly, helpful and made our stay extra special. Big shout out to the resort operations coordinator, Nick, who made our stay comfortable and accommodating. His English was amazing and he arranged all the transfers for us. The whole staff asked us every morning how we were. We also had the pleasure of meeting the resort owner who was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our children were very welcomed and loved the kids room. It was a great place for them to chill out and avoid the high temperatures. Twin Bay is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and we really hope to return one day. If you are considering booking this accommodation, don’t hesitate as it’s the best place we stayed in Thailand. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

I'm not a fan of resorts, as I like to go out and about, but my gf wanted to stay in one, so we settled on this place. It was comfortable for us, as the staff left us to ourselves, but if you like to be fussed over, the staff were more than happy to oblige, and we witnessed them engaging positively with other guests. The food and drink was good and appropriately priced, I don't understand previous reviews complaining about "UK prices", you are staying at an upmarket resort, and the prices here are pretty standard for such a place in Thailand, I definitely wouldn't consider it expensive. The beds here are rock hard, typical Thai style (which we loved), and were exceptionally clean, although the rooms could do with a lick of paint (I'm assuming they're waiting until the end of low season to fix this). The swimming pool was clean and deep, although the jacuzzi was not functioning when we tried to use it. Outside, the scenery is absolutely stunning, with plenty of wildlife 24/7. We even witnessed a monitor lizard just along the road from the resort.

Loved it chilled vibe. Currently having building renovations so upgraded to a bungalow on the beach for no extra cost which was kind and you cannot beat going to sleep and waking up to the beach view through huge glass patio doors. It's also very quiet with a wonderful pool right on the beach. The beach is very gently sloping so swimming is excellent and safe. It's at the end of the krung doa beach so you can easily walk the whole length. Though the bungalows are dated, they are huge and comfy and staff come and clean them everyday and top up your up teas coffees towels etc. Finally the staff are helpful, particularly Nick, who has outstanding English having been raised in New Zealand. Every vo.pany does pick up and drop offs from and to it.
